For the past few weeks, Lionel Messi was rumoured on making a move away from Camp Nou as the Argentine attacker appeared to be delaying or simply not interested in having his contract with Barcelona extended but he recently did indeed opt for an extension.

Cristiano Ronaldo is another one of the players who has emerged as a possible player who could be making a move away from his current club, Real Madrid.

The superstar of Real Madrid has a contract with the Spanish outfit which extends until 2021 but there are rumours circulating, suggesting that he has been having talks with the heads chiefs of PSG with the topic of discussion being his future in European football. Whilst there are many potential reasons for Ronaldo’s advisors to ‘bump into’ the PSG transfer negotiation team, few have much currency when compared to the possible transfer rumour.

Paris Saint-Germain is a club which is known for their tendency of offloading astronomically high amounts of cash for a target. The French club actually has the record of the most expensive football transfer after splashing £198 million in luring Neymar, and according to the latest online betting from William Hill – the home of betting – Ronaldo is just 2/1 to join him there for another astronomical fee in the summer!

It still remains fairly difficult to believe that after so much money was spent in bringing in the Brazilian star from Barcelona and that Neymar would enjoy to play alongside Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, considering the rivalry which continues to exist between the Spanish clubs.

Earlier in the month of November, when the Portuguese player was asked about his future, he replied by saying: “I am doing very well at Real Madrid. I have four years left on my contract and I don’t want to renew. I am fine” It does not appear like Ronaldo is interested in making a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon and especially not with a club that had one of the stars of his rival clubs.
