German sportswear manufacturing giants Adidas have released signature football boots for Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian international was awarded a signature boot collection for the first time by Adidas.

The Salah football boots feature black, gold and red touches to make a classy finish for a phenomenal footballer who has been in sensational form for the Reds this season.

It’s not surprising that Liverpool star Salah has been rewarded by Adidas with his own signature boot collection as his reputation in the footballing world continues to grow after a sensational start to this season. The 29-year-old would be hoping to score more goals in the new Adidas football boots customised for him starting with the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon.

The signature football boot collection for Salah was released by Adidas a few days before the AFCON tournament which got underway on Sunday with the opening match between hosts Cameroon and Burkina Faso in Group A.

Gustavo Sangare scored to give Burkina Faso the lead in the 24th minute before Cameroon skipper Vincent Aboubakar scored twice from the penalty spot in the last five minutes of the first half to turn the game around and give his team a 2-1 win. In the second Group A game, Julio Tavares scored the only goal of the game in added time of first half to give Cape Verde a 1-0 win over Ethiopia.

Salah and Egypt are in Group D alongside Nigeria, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau. There are three former winners in the group namely Egypt, Sudan and Nigeria. Egypt will start their campaign against Nigeria on Tuesday. Ahead of the game, Salah is one of the most in-form players in the world at the moment after netting 23 times in 26 games for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
