German sportswear giants Adidas have launched its latest edition of the Adidas Predator boot to mark the 25th anniversary of the initial launch of the famous boot. The boot has been worn over the years by many legends of the game.
The launch of the boot was greeted with the presence of two of Adidas ambassadors David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. Both players played for Real Madrid and command a large following of supporters across the world.
The special edition Predator boot is inspired by the boots worn by the legendary players across their career.
Zidane wore the Predator Accelerators boors during the 1998 World Cup tournament which he won with France. Adidas have recreated a unique look for that set of the boot while the Precision boot worn by David Beckham has been recreated to give a modern look.
Adidas made a lot of money from the sales of both iconic boots in the course of their careers. Adidas have created a version of the Predator 19+ that combines tha designs of both boots. According to the pictures and videos released the footwear is gold in colour and features the intitials of David Beckham and Zidane on the Left and right boots.
Adidas have confirmed that Benjamin Pavard is to receive a pair for his World Cup goal against Argentina which was voted the goal of the tournament. While Madrid ace Marcelo is also going to receive a pair.
Manchester United star Paul Pogba is among the early beneficiaries as David Beckham sends a text message in the commercial to inform him that the special boots are on the way.
Adidas are also expected to make new releases of the Pulse and Absolute boots in the coming years as the popularity grows among players.
