Seattle Sounders have managed to continue their winning streak by beating FC Dallas by 2-1. Seattle Sounders controlled the game from the beginning and managed to hold 60% possession of the ball and having 6 shots on target compared to only 2 from FC Dallas.

Seattle Sounders will manage to open the scoring in the closing stage of the first half when Chad Marshall will score with a header from a corner. The FC Dallas will have no chance on this header and will allow Seattle Sounders to reach half-time with the score 1-0.

However, FC Dallas will improve massively in the second-half and will take the game from Seattle Sounders and start creating occasions of their own.  Just seven minutes after the restart, Dominique Badji will score the equalizer and bring FC Dallas back in the game.

The goal will wake up Seattle Sounders and they will again come back into the game. In the 63rd minute, they will score another goal thanks to Lodeiro who will score on a free-kick.

Seattle Sounders will then control the game and prevent FC Dallas from creating any clear-cut opportunities.

The Seattle Sounders coach said that it was a difficult game and that his players made it even more difficult. He said that they have plenty of opportunities to score goals in the first half but unfortunately, they could not manage to achieve it.

Brian Schmetzer said that they have been working hard during the week to prepare for this match and that they started the match well. He said that the players were let down by poor decision making sometimes in the final third and this explains the reason why they could not score more goals. He said that the FC Dallas goalkeeper was also very good in this game.
